ITEMS WANTED

We are looking for the following items for the library. Sheets or fabrics 46in x46in OR bigger, empty clean soup, vegetable etc cans, corks, any craft supplies, games-it’s okay if they are not complete, puzzles/puzzle pieces, toys-broken is great!

Paper plates-dessert and lg sizes, paper and foam cups-all sizes, facial tissues (kleenex etc), cotton balls, glue, glue sticks…

Have something you think we might be able to use?? Bring it on in, I bet we can find something to do with it!

Book Exchange

We have an abundance of books for exchange-take one or two and leave one or two. Heck just take a few!

Donations need for craft projects

We are asking for donations for the following recyclable/craft items: burnt out light bulbs, caps/lids from milk jugs, boxes from grocery items (crackers, cereal, oatmeal, mac and cheese, cake mixes, etc), margarine/butter, sour cream, cottage cheese tubs.

We would also appreciate the following items donated: paper or foam plates, paper or foam bowls, paper or foam cups, markers, crayons, glue and glue sticks, construction paper, tissue paper, and storage bags-all sizes from snack to 2 gallon.

We are still waiting on the High School to complete our cook book. As soon as they are available I will post here online that they are ready! Once again, thanks for your patience and understanding.

I am asking that all patrons fill out a survey about their library experience(s). I would like to have feedback on the areas that need worked on as well as the areas that have been improved. Your input would be most appreciated.

Newspapers at the Library

Did you know that you can now read the local newspaper at the Williamsburg Community Libary? We have the The Ottawa Herald available, as well as the Wall Street Journal. The library also has a nice selection of magazines for you to enjoy.

Digital Camera Available

Wireless Hotspot at the Library!

We are pleased to announce that the Williamsburg Community Library now has wireless internet access. If you have a laptop that has wireless capabilities you will now be able to access the internet at the library with your computer. We are very pleased that we can offer this service to our patrons.

Public Computers Now Available

The library now has public computers available for our patrons with a high speed internet connection. These computers include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher. Patrons can print for .10 per page. Searchable Library Catalog

We have now begun the process of entering the Williamsburg Community Library collection into an automated system. Although this will take time, we are excited to announce that you can search our library catalog through our website. Simply click on the “Library Catalog” button on the right column. This will allow you to search what has been put into the system so far. It also allows you to search numerous other libraries for items you are looking for. In the near future you will be able to request items from other libraries. Once completed you will be able to keep track of what you have checked out, place items on hold, and other helpful features.
